Samsung Galaxy S III: How to Edit and Delete Contacts


After you have created a contact for the first time, you may want to edit that contact to add more information to that contact. For example if they just give you their email address or a work phone number, you could add it to the contact.

This tutorial will show you how to edit a contact’s detail on your Samsung Galaxy S 3:

1. First, press the Home button to return to Galaxy S 3’s Home screen.

2. Next, touch on the Contacts app icon.

- Or you can press the Apps key and tap to choose Contacts app.

3. Then, select a contact name from the drop down list.

4. Then press on the Edit button.

- You can also press the Menu key and tap Edit.

- You can also press and hold a Contacts entry from the main Contacts list and then hit on the Edit button.

5. Now, feel free to edit the contact information as required.

6. When you are done, hit the Save button to store the new entry, or you can hit the Cancel button to terminate the process.

 

Deleting a Contact

If you have lost touch with one of your contacts, you could remove their contact detail. Here's how:

1. First, tap on the Home button to go back to Galaxy S 3’s Home screen.

2. Next, touch on the Contacts app icon.

3. Here, press and hold on a contact name from the drop down list.

4. Then tap on Delete.

5. Finally, touch the OK button to verify your deletion.
