How to Hard Reset BlackBerry Curve 9220

There will be times that you run into trouble with your Black Berry Curve 9220 device, and ultimately you will need to hard reset it to get it working again.

If your device has frozen, stucked and not responding your could try to reset it. There are three different ways you can do this:

Soft Reset

1. Press ALT+RIGHT SHIFT(CAP)+DELETE keys simultaneously at the same time.

Double Soft Reset

1. First press  ALT+RIGHT SHIFT(CAP)+DELETE keys, you should see the screen go blank. Then press the ALT+RIGHT SHIFT(CAP)+DELETE keys again when that screen is no longer black. Your device will then turn off again with a black screen and then start up with an hour glass.

If the above does not solve your problem then this will be your last option to reset the device.

Hard Reset

1. While your device is still on, simply pull out the battery. Wait for more than 30 seconds, then put it back in. Once you put the battery back it, your device will attempt to reboot itself.
